A Harbour

A harbour is a safe place away from the storm, a place to get restocked or repaired or just seek shelter or even recreation. It is a place to be, before heading out into open waters. This is the Church.

Harbours are a place of ships. There are four main ships in this harbour that our church life encompasses.

Disciple-ship

Discipleship is the continual growth of each person in faith – evident in spirit, mind and ministry.

Fellow-ship

Fellowship is the complete sharing of life with another saint in the faith.

Wor-ship

Worship is often connected to sacrifice. Anything that lifts the name of Jesus and is sacrifice of self to His glory is an act of worship – prayer, giving, leadership.

Relation-ship

Relationship is how we relate to the world around us as individuals and as a community with faith in Jesus.
