On Sunday night at ‘Encounters’ I spoke on the benefits of the spiritual discipline of journaling.  I underlined my passionate belief that every Christian, young and old alike can enjoy daily two way communication with their God & King.  In fact I would go as far as to say that two way communication is part of the design plan of prayer and it is the way it’s meant to be.  YES each and every day we all can enjoy the presence of our Lord and be blessed by hearing him speak to us on an hour by hour, minute by minute basis.

Once I got home on Sunday night I couldn’t sleep, my mind was travelling at one  million miles an hour as it processed the amazing evening we spent together with our heavenly father!  As I lay in bed I was reminded of a handout I prepared for a home group I was asked to guest speak at a few years ago.  I spoke on the importance of engaging with the Spiritual disciplines and I choose to use the example of journaling.

Staggered I didn’t think of this handout and resource before ‘Encounters’ I now publish it below (Journaling your walk download) for your consideration and use.  Please feel free to leave a comment and let me know how you all get on.  Alternatively you could email me (my address is on the front of our Church bulletin.)
